Proverbs 6:16, 19 (KJV)  These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Psalms 133:1 (KJV)  Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! Sadly, there also people who hate unity amongst brethren. Some would lie just to bring confusion amongst friends and family; others would disclose  confided secrets to another just to create problems. This is even more worrying when this practice is seen in the church; some turn themselves into gossip peddlers, and carry stories around the brethren; eventually there is discord in departments, ministries, fellowships, etc. Some are specialised in creating disunity amongst married couples; they say what they have not seen and cause mistrust in marriages. God hates these things and we must beware and stop such devilish acts. We must learn to shut our mouths on some issues, because that is a trait of being wise.

May we not be the source of problems amongst the brethren. Have a blessed Saturday.

Prayer: Please forgive me for sowing discord amongst the brethren; help me to bridle by tongue and rather be the one that brings unity.
