1 Corinthians 9:27 (KJV)  But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV)  Pray without ceasing.

We can only control the body effectively if prayer is a lifestyle. To pray without ceasing obviously is not to pray 24/7; but to  pray often and as much as possible. We must move beyond just praying in the morning; to talking to God when driving, in public transport, during lunch or break times, walking alone, before sleeping, etc. Most times we waste time on useless and unnecessary chatter, which sometimes lead to gossip and other sins, that end up empowering the body. For instance, instead of using all your break period to chat, move away from the crowd and pray for some time; it can even be 10 minutes, but that is still important spiritual exercise. Let us control ourselves and refrain from being prayerless. We must be worried if the only time we pray every day, is just a few minutes in the morning. It is time to pray. To be continued.
