Proverbs 6:16, 18 (KJV)  These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief

We have to be slow in reacting to evil thoughts, reports and advice. We must think through and weigh the consequences of our actions well. If we fail to slow down in acting, we would be making mistakes which God won't be pleased about. Suggestions would come from people as well as thoughts in our mind, but we have to know what to do. If we know it is wrong, we ignore it and avoid sinning. These days, the hyper grace mentality has made some Christians not to fear sin again. We sin freely, because of our definition of the grace. Before we run to go and do any mischievous acts, let us be reminded about God seeing all we do. If we keep this thought, that God sees us, we may think twice before running to do evil. As for the circumstances to sin, they would be there, but we have to choose. Let us not be good athletes on the tracks of sin, but rather let us be poor runners on the tracks of sin.

May we seek to please God only in our daily actions. Have a blessed Thursday.

Prayer: Help me to stay away from doing mischievous things that displease you.
